Can we say that we are really looking forward to opening our doors back up at New Leaf Counseling Group? Like most businesses in Charlotte, NC and across the state, we closed our doors to seeing clients in Person due to the COVID19 pandemic so we could be a part of the greater solution for our community.

The "stay at home orders" are scheduled to be lifted in Charlotte, NC on May 8, at which time we will promptly open our offices back up again, and continue offering down-to-earth counseling and therapy services from a diverse team of professional counselors and therapists so you can have room to GROW.

Once you are ready to see you local Charlotte-area counselor or therapist in Person, we will be here to work with YOU in person as well!

We have been SO excited to re-open, that we thought we thought it would be nice create a short video for you to experience an official "WELCOME BACK!"

Just in case you forgot how warm, welcoming, and convenient everything is at New Leaf Counseling Group in Charlotte, check out the short video below!

Like all of you, we have been doing our best to stay safe and healthy in the current times. Even after we get the "go ahead" from local Charlotte and regional NC governing bodies to open up our offices, we would also like to inform you of the steps we are taking in order to continue doing our part to keep the Charlotte community healthy & safe while clients address mental health, relationship issues, and/or personal growth work at New Leaf Counseling Group.

#1 Measure to protect Charlotte, NC while offering therapy & counseling services at New Leaf Counseling Group

All Clients will be asked to remain in their vehicle until their appointment is scheduled to begin, rather than sitting in our "waiting room area"

We sure put a LOT of energy into designing a comfortable and pleasant waiting room, but your physical health must be the priority. We will continue stocking our waiting room with all of the complimentary amenities you have grown to appreciate (candy, herbal teas, fresh coffee, etc.), but we ask that you refrain from sitting down in our waiting room before your session to wait - or during an appointment for a Loved One.

This way we can be sure that all clients keep plenty of distance as everyone accesses their therapy and counseling needs in our Charlotte office. If you are waiting on a Loved One, please feel free to wait in your vehicle, or even have a seat in the soft grass in the front green space.

#2 Measure to protect Charlotte, NC while offering therapy & counseling services at New Leaf Counseling Group

All surfaces will be wiped down with cleaning solution approved by the CDC to kill the COVD19 virus at the beginning and end of each day.

Our counselor and therapist team will also be taking our own measures to keep clients safe while traveling to our Charlotte, NC.

The first counselor or therapist in the office at New Leaf Counseling Group, and the last therapist to leave the office, will be responsible for cleaning all surfaces with disinfectant.

All surfaces will be wiped down with cleaning solution approved by the CDC to kill the COVD19 virus at the beginning and end of each day.

#3 Measure to protect Charlotte, NC while offering therapy & counseling services at New Leaf Counseling Group

All reading material and charging stations have been removed from the waiting room.

We know that many of you appreciated reading the latest articles of Psychology Today, or even Consumer Reports and/or The Economist as you arrived to our Charlotte office at New Leaf and waiting for your scheduled appointment with your counselor or therapist.

Due to the COVID19 pandemic, we removed all reading materials to limit risk of transmission for any pathogens that might want to "hang out" on p.34 and slide onto your hand as you turn the pages. We look forward to bringing back a well-rounded and up to date collection of your favorite printed articles once all of this is over.

We also removed our charging station for electronic appliances from our waiting room. The most commonly charged device was a cell phone and as much as we want to help you "stay charged up" in the Brave New World, we ALSO want to help you stay safe & healthy. If your batteries are "running on empty"(pun intended) by the time you meet with your counselor or therapist at our Charlotte office, please let them know. Your counselor or therapist will be happy to plug in your electronic device during the course of your scheduled appointment.

If you would like to use our complimentary Wireless Internet to cruise around the web and get desired information using your phone while you wait in your car OR that nice soft grass out front of our Charlotte office, please let your counselor or therapist know that you would like to password for the "Confidential Client WiFi" and we would be happy to provide this information to you.
